Talented & Recycles!

I came across this beauty on Etsy. Emily Kircher makes this out of recycled cloth. She also custom makes it as per the size and/or the color your heart desires! It's machine washable and dry-able and from what i can imagine...soft and comfy!

Inspiring...

Fun Antiqued Letters

In honor of Valentine's Day, here's a mention to Grandin Road's colorful metal letters and symbols. They come in a few sizes with 24inches being the tallest for the letters. It's a nice change from the usual white that we've seen. These vibrant letters can be used to add a nice pop of color anywhere in the home!

Happy Valentine's Day all!

Gasp Worthy Chair!

The print on this chair just takes my breath away!! i may be exaggerating some, but it is no doubt still STUNNING! i take it back...it does take my breath away! ;)

It's upholstered and comes with a similar slipcover....it's a suzani print. I've been seeing a lot of that lately...it's beautiful no doubt...but a lil pricey. Drool doesn't look at price...right??!! o and it swivel AND rocks!

and btw it's from Grandin Road.

They'll take our cutting boards back!

This cutting boards is made by Architech and is called the EcoSmart Polyfax Cutting Board.

What i like about it that the manufacturers didn't just stop at creating an eco friendly product BUT that once we're done using the board, instead of it ending up in landfill, they have a Take-Back program where they send you a prepaid shipping label and you send it back to them!

I love the concept of going-green and staying green!

This product can be found at Amazon, Bed Bath & Beyond and other fine retailers! Check it out. I'm using one now and love it.

Natural, kinda healthy & Oh so delicious!

Now tell me this does not look delicious??!!It's from UTZ, and they say
"Nothing artificial. Everything Delicious".
It has a nice crunch, not like a hard, break your teeth kinda crunch, but a good bite nonetheless. Love the colors, love that it's natural with no preservatives and the slightly different taste of each of the different potatoes used, gives a new flavor with each bite.
Here's what the packaging looks like:

TasteBook - Your very own personalized cookbook

Has anyone used TasteBook before? It's a great source for recipes but what gives me the kicks is that i can put in my own recipes and get a beautiful bound copy for myself!

Although you cannot customize everything, it's a great way to compile age old recipes instead of it lying around as scraps of paper. I made this for my mom a couple months back when i was visiting her and you wouldn't believe the joy on her face when she saw all of her family recipes bound and beautifully displayed!

Now i want to do the same for myself...my mom's recipes, from friends i've made over the years, recipes from random sites which ended up being tremendously popular, which if i go looking for now, i will never find! It makes a great personalized gift. Hope you like it as much as my mom did!

West Elm's Indoor Gardening Class

Is this not adorable?! I just saw this email from West Elm about their indoor decorating class. It's different, it's low maintenance and a great winter project, when all we want to do is stay warm and snugly! It might be worth a look-see...

I'm back!

i've been gone a while...a long while! i came across a few blogs while browsing around over the last few months, looking for things to inspire me and i realized...wouldn't it be nice if someone visited me as well??

I'm trying to put together my thoughts..my current passions...emphasis on 'current' thus 'a wandering mind'!! these days it's waiting for spring to arrive and to make the wait bearable, i grab a bunch of irresistible flowers when i'm out grocery shopping and bring it home, take out my prized macro lens and get up close with those colorful beauties! it's like looking at them with new eyes!  I do upload them to online stock photography sites and earn a few pennies and you wouldn't belive the pleasure i get out of making those few cents, which translates to me that someone liked it enough to pay for it! if you'd like to check it out and leave me your comments, i would much appreciate it.
